The American Pharmacists Association, the national professional society of pharmacists, has an immediate need for a Director of Program Development to serve as staff expert in safety net/340B program development related to pharmacy access needs, covered entity operations, and pharmacy service delivery trends to underserved populations for the HRSA Pharmacy Services Support Center's (PSSC) 340-B program.

Responsibilities include identifying the pharmacy services needs of the 340B community, developing strategies and priorities for using PSSC contract and non-contract resources, planning and developing educational material and outreach initiatives, serving as lead PSSC staff resources on pharmacy practice issues and pharmacy services program, and work with National professional pharmacy and non-pharmacy organizations to advance 340B pharmacy issues across the profession.

Candidates must have Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Master's degree preferred, 3-5 years in pharmacy or related field, experience in pharmacy practice issues, safety net operations, or health care delivery in government grantee sites, knowledge of issues affecting pharmacy required, knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement requirements desirable, and excellent oral and written communications skills.  Interested candidates should email cover letter, resume, and salary requirements w/Program Dev.
